Black Mountain Kelowna Real Estate

You can find Luxury homes along Belgo Rd, Geen Rd, Montenegro Dr, Mine Hill Dr, Stockley Dr and Birkdale Ave. These dwellings range in price from 1 million to 2.9 million. They feature swimming pools, outdoor patio spaces, soaring vaulted ceilings, chef-inspired kitchens, and those jaw-dropping Okanagan lake and Kelowna city views. 

Blue Sky at Black Mountain offers the highest residential lots in Kelowna, perched above the sweeping valley views. The north overlooks the farms and acreages over Ellison and glimpses of the Kelowna International Airport (YVR). The Gate townhome complex is located at 1651 Lynrick Rd and was constructed in 2012. Two and three-bedroom floor plans ranging in size from 1286 - 1496 square feet. Where is Black Mountain Kelowna

To visit Black Mountain, take Hwy/BC-97N from Downtown Kelowna, turn right onto Hwy/BC-33, follow the highway through Rutland along the road and in 6.9 kilometres, you’ll arrive at your destination. 

The neighbourhood boundaries are made up of the area north of Mission Creek, east of Hollywood Rd S, Teasdale and Springfield Roads, and east along Hwy 33 up to Goudy Rd.

Things to do in Black Mountain

Those that call Black Mountain home enjoy being near the outskirts of town while still being relatively close to local shops and stores. Nearby at the bottom of the hill along Hwy 33 in Rutland, you'll find local restaurant favourites like Olympia Greek Taverna, Latin Fiesta.  Grocery stores including Costco and Save-on-Foods and several fast food restaurant chains including Starbucks, Tim Hortons, Mcdonalds, Dominos Pizza and Wendys.

Who doesn't love a round of golf? From late fall to early spring, enjoy golfing at one of the most scenic golf courses in the Okanagan. Black Mountain Golf Course is a challenging full-length 18 hole par-71 championship golf course and was awarded the BC golf facility of the year by the PGA tour in 2018.

Black Mountain Schools

SD 23 Okanagan serves all the students living in Black Mountain. Belgo Elementary (K-5), Black Mountain Elementary (K-5), KLO Middle (7-9) and Kelowna Secondary (KSS) (10-12). Private school in the area is  provided by Aberdeen Hall, with programs from daycare, preschool all the way up to grade 12.
